The purpose of the report is to assist me in deciding whether to proceed with the purchase of the property and to provide professional advice on the general condition of the property, including any significant defects, repairs, maintenance issues and any further investigations that may be required before purchase.
I understand that the Level 2 survey includes a physical inspection of the property and a report based on that inspection. I also understand that the inspection is visual and non-invasive, and that services such as gas, electricity, water, heating and drainage will be visually inspected where possible but not tested.
I confirm that I have been advised to inform the surveyor of any agreed or proposed purchase price and any particular concerns I may have about the property before the inspection takes place.
